Niroshini Fundraising provides support to charities and projects in Sri Lanka's tea plantations & the United Kingdom
Founder, Melissa Day, is passionate about the sharing of good practice, education and equality.
Our most recent project has been developing educational films on topics surrounding rape. The purpose of the films is to promote best practice, help with awareness raising and provide help and support to survivors of rape in the UK.

♦ Ipswich Town of Sanctuary
A movement, called Ipswich Town of Sanctuary, set up to encourage welcome, hospitality and safety to sanctuary seekers, was established in 2008 in Ipswich, Suffolk. Ipswich was the first area in the East of England to gain "Town of Sanctuary" status via Ipswich Borough Council. You can read more here.
♦ Tea Leaf Vision (Sri Lanka)
Tea Leaf Vision, a project run via Tea Leaf Trust, has education centres in Maskeliya and Nuwara Eliya.
We help to support their work enabling young people at the centre and surrounding community in Maskeliya, to gain English skills. We are developing a 6 week programme for both the young men and women (aged 18 – 24 years) to participate in at Tea Leaf Vision’s second school in Nuwara Eliya. The programme will focus on respect for women and consent.
